Soffit and plaque attachment near front of geison at apparent intersection with strut. Unusually thick soffit profile. Breaks reveal fine-coarse clay layering. Traces of a black and perhaps an adjacent white tongue on soffit. Blackened surfaces of strut may be either paint or weathering.
