Acknowledgments

The Archaic Sanctuary at Mon Repos Project was made possible by the generous support of many institutions and individuals.

The 2010-2011 program of 3D scanning and the development of this website was funded by the American Council of Learned Societies' Digital Innovation Fellowship. The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology has been a second institutional sponsor. The Center for Digital Research in the Humanities supports and archives this website.

The initial phases of research conducted from 2005-2006 were sponsored by a Homer A. and Dorothy B. Thompson Fellowship at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens and the Council of American Overseas Research Centers' Multi-Country Research Fellowship. Further study in 2008-2010 was supported by a Penn Humanities Forum Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Many thanks are due to Giorgos Dontas, director of the excavatinos at Mon Repos in the 1960s, who kindly granted permission for studying the Mon Repos architectural material. Petros Kalligas, who subsequently directed excavations at Mon Repos, and the German Archaeological Institute, Athens, also permitted the study. Final authorization for the research was granted by the Eighth Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquites at Corfu, under the directorship of Katerina Kanta-Kitsou and Garifalia Metallinou. The project was generously supported by the staff of the Ephorate, the Archaeological Museum of Corfu, and the Palaiopolis Museum at Mon Repos, with thanks in particular for the assistance of Maria Nakou, archaeologist at the Ephorate, and Stathis Provatas, director of the Palaiopolis Museum.

Evren Bruce, William Bruce, Katie Simon, and Emily Stevens assisted with the processing of the 3D scans.
